Printed Chess Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Printed Chess. We value your satisfaction and aim to ensure you have a great experience with our products. Please review our return policy carefully:

1. Returns & Exchanges

  • Eligibility: We accept returns or exchanges for damaged, defective, or incorrect items. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with the original packaging.
  •  Timeframe: Returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Customized Products: Due to the nature of our business, customized or personalized chess sets are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

2. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at **jonas@printedchess.com**. Include the following details:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the product if it is damaged or incorrect

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. **Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.**

4. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized chess sets
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items (if applicable)

6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product. If you need to exchange an item, please follow the steps under "How to Initiate a Return."
